Air achieves SOC 2 compliance

August 17, 2021 · 2 min read

Here at Air, our top priority has always been the privacy and protection of our customers’ data. We are proud to announce that Air has achieved SOC 2 compliance, a milestone that reaffirms our commitment to meeting the highest standards for data security, privacy, and confidentiality.

Air received a successful SOC 2 Type 1 attestation report after passing a rigorous assessment by Schneider Downs, a respected independent audit firm. This report objectively validates our ability and dedicated efforts to guarantee the protection of our users’ data.

Air works with Drata, the world’s most advanced security and compliance automation platform, to ensure the end-to-end security and compliance posture of our systems. Drata enabled us to navigate the audit process smoothly and continues to help us monitor our security controls daily.

Our SOC 2 certification is an important step in our ongoing commitment to privacy and security for our users, but we’re just getting started. User data protection will remain at the forefront of everything we do at Air as we continue to build our product and improve our systems.

“We’re leaning more heavily into enterprise relationships, so the bar for our security systems continues to rise,” says Air CTO Tyler Strand. “Our team will work with Drata to ensure we always stay one step ahead and advance our security posture as we grow.”

As more enterprises look to process sensitive and confidential business information with cloud-based solutions like Air, it’s essential that they choose companies that put the safety of their data first. At Air, we take this responsibility very seriously and work tirelessly to earn and maintain the trust of our customers.
